Over the years, I’ve learned that travel for neurodiverse families requires an entirely different framework.
What seems simple to neurotypical travelers—airports, crowded cities, sudden schedule changes, and unfamiliar sensory environments—can cause extreme executive dysfunction and anxiety for an AuDHD or 2e child.
As both a parent and a certified travel professional, I believe a successful journey starts with understanding your child's communication style first.
